Introducing the Store Health Check: a free audit of your shop's listings

Every seller has listings they're not quite sure about. Is the title good enough? Are all the tag slots being used? Is a stale, unloved listing quietly dragging the rest of the shop down? Our Store Health Check answers exactly that, from a CSV file you already have.

How it works

Etsy, eBay and Amazon Handmade all let sellers download a listings export from their own seller dashboard. Upload that CSV to the Store Health Check, and it's scored against a detailed rubric covering titles, tags, descriptions, pricing, images and - where the data allows - real engagement signals like views, favourites and sales.

Each marketplace gets its own tab and its own scoring, because the platforms genuinely work differently. On eBay, for instance, item specifics are close to a hard filter in search - a buyer filtering by colour or size will never even see a listing that's missing that attribute, however good everything else about it is. Amazon's backend search terms have a strict 249-byte limit that, if exceeded, silently drops the whole field from indexing. Etsy weighs recency and tag-slot usage heavily. The audit reflects all of this, not a generic one-size-fits-all checklist.

What you get back

A clear, scored report broken down by category, plus specific, actionable findings ranked by impact and effort - so you know what to fix first, not just that something's wrong. A free tier is available with no account, and a deeper, connected version is available to members for shops that want ongoing tracking.

Give it a try on the Store Health Check page - it only takes a couple of minutes.
